At EA Munich, we aim to build a community of students and professionals who work together towards creating a better world.

Our activities and events

• Social meetup: Our social meetups present a perfect opportunity to get to know members of EA Munich. You can come by yourself or bring a friend as well. As with all our events, everyone is welcome.

• Introductory program: During every semester, we organize an introductory program, which you can join both in-person in Munich as well as virtually. For a month, you will take part in weekly meetings to get introduced to the principles of Effective Altruism and engage critically with the movement and its ideas.

• Workshops & Talks: We regularly host workshops and talks to focus on specific issues and dicuss them in detail.

• Career mentoring: Patrick of EA Germany offers career guidance in Munich, check the website for more information.

• Hiking & other fun things: When the weather is good, we often organize community hikes or picnic in the park.

You do not need to be part of the community to attend our events, nor do you need to be knowledgeable about Effective Altruism. Everyone is welcome. We are looking forward to meeting you!
